Most people reading this will know Dark Star Brewing Co., whose superb, consistent ales have been gracing our bar for many years. Many of you may also be aware that long-serving Head Brewer Mark Tranter left the company earlier this year, hinting at a new project in the pipeline.
Sure enough, Mark is back in the brewing game with his new Sussex-based artisan brewing and blending operation, ‘Burning Sky”, and we’ve been lucky enough to get our grubby mits on some! Now resting in our cellar we have;
Plateau – a zesty 3.5% US & NZ-hopped pale ale
Aurora – 5.6% Pale Ale, loaded with a resinous blend of US hops
Saison l’Automne – a workers strength 4.2% Saison laden with locally-grown Rosehips.
Devils Rest – A full-strength US IPA loaded with Simcoe and Centennial.
